This Privacy Policy describes how Cyber7 ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the C7 MDR Alerts mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Account credentials – email address and password (hashed) used to authenticate your account.
• Push notification tokens – device tokens used solely to deliver security alert notifications to your device.
• Security alert data – MDR alert information retrieved from ConnectWise on your organisation's behalf.
• Usage data – basic app interactions (e.g. alert acknowledgements) stored to maintain alert state.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and provide access to your organisation's security alerts.
• To deliver real-time push notifications for new MDR alerts.
• To record alert acknowledgement and resolution status.
• To maintain and improve the reliability of the App.

3. Data Storage

Account and alert data is stored in a secure cloud database (MongoDB Atlas). Push notification tokens are stored only for the duration they are needed to deliver notifications and are removed when you log out or uninstall the App.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Data is only shared with:

• ConnectWise – to retrieve security alert data for your organisation.
• Firebase (Google) – solely to deliver push notifications to your device.
• MongoDB Atlas – for secure cloud data storage.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and JWT-based authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business and professional use only and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
